When Death made a Mess.

The picture with the cat is the better of the two.

 The cat contrasts against the purple background.

 Tom reads well against the contrasting purple background.

 Tom pops in that picture.

 The picture of death doesn't look nearly as tasteful to me.

 The pink background is attention grabbing but it competes against death.

 A more muted solid pink would have been more appropriate.

 It would have made death pop more.

 Next time you ink a drawing.

 Thicken the line art a bit more to clean it up.

 Doing these simple things will make your already awesome drawings even more awesome.
